Cool...can one come to just watch?
2.
I can't dance but that does look neat. Maybe they'll set up a viewing cage in the corner for us jimmy ! What would have been rcool is if they had it in something like the Millennium Centre - more of a formal old grand ballroom.
3.
It's funny...I can't dance but really enjoy watching other people dance...of course, only if they're good at it. Otherwise, it's just like looking in a mirror.

You can come and watch all you want, you still have to get a ticket though :).

There will be a lot of great dancers, almost every major dance school is participating, plus, 11 confirmed showcases. This is the first time something like this is done in Winnipeg.

It is something in the water, or culture... Unfortunately, dancing is not a fashionable thing to do in North America. At least it wasn't during the past 1-2 generations, but it's starting to change slowly with all the new reality shows about it. "Dancing with the stars", "So you think you can dance" and many others.

The funny thing is, almost everyone can dance. Despite common believe, it is as easy as walking. In fact, it mostly is walking, just walking to the music. So if you tend to tap your fingers / feet to the beat of your favourite songs and can tell your left from your right, your probably can dance. It is way more fun to do it than to watch it.
