I used to sell electronics to such people. It was a husband and wife team and they always came to the store I worked at because we still carried analog video cameras, and they insisted that only analog and not digital is capable of recording paranormal activity. I can't speak for their business or beliefs, but they were very nice people. There can't be that many paranormal investigators in Winnipeg, so this is probably the same couple.
One of my friends has some serious paranormal activity going on.
He's in his 30s now, but when he was a little kid, he would have a sense that something was grabbing his throat. He said it would make him dream that he got out of bed and turned on the light to make it go away. He never spoke about it until recently when he discovered that other members of the household had similar experiences, including recently, but they never spoke to each other about it for fear of ridicule.
They are supposed to get an exorcist to check things out. There's a lot more to the story, involving crosses, etc., that I haven't mentioned. Hopefully, whatever is bothering them will go away.
