I realize this is a long-shot and that is why I am setting it to expire soon...

I need earrings. Especially clip-on or old-fashioned ones like grandmothers wear. :) It's for a performance art piece my mom is doing. Value Village has upped all their prices so they're charging $1/pair and I need 100+ pairs so that's not going to work.

Anyone know of any thrift stores / bargain shops where I might have better luck getting them in bulk/cheaper? Anyone have a stash lying around they could sell?

100+ pairs? That's a heck of a lot of earrings.

Sorry, no clue where you'd get that many earrings.

You'd have a pretty tough time getting earrings retail that will sell for under a $1. You'd likely have to find a wholesaler, probably by looking online, and they'd have a minimum order qty. Then there's the shipping.

    Good luck!

I was hoping for used, it's sort of important to the project. They don't need to be the same at all. I'm willing to go to a bunch of different places. They used to be 50 cents at VV, and sometimes you can get big bags of them for $10 or something, but I've already bought all I could find.

    Hmmm.

No it's not. I'll keep checking places but it's hard when you don't drive. I was hoping someone could give me a lead.

Phone around and if you need a ride I will be available tomorrow- Tell them what it is for, maybe you could rent them for the time frame, but at $1 a pair, that really is nothing to spend. Costumes- Mallabar and rent them? May not be as cheap as buying?

Is there a listing of thrift shops? There are always smaller shops that you might want to hit.

Make your own. The hard part is the "clip on" component. I've sourced that for you:

I don't think I'd rent. Something about wearing other's earrings sets off some hygiene alarms. O_o

They're not going to be worn either. She's turning them into pins actually.
