Urgent. My sister's friend is in town from toronto and because my sister works, I'm supposed to entertain the friend for the day. So what's up today, or every day, that I'm forgetting?

Head to Osborne then later on Corydon. Might make them feel right at home actually.

Zoo. Or take her to Bird's Hill Park and lounge at the beach or go for a hike. Or better yet, go up to Grand Beach.

  1.
Osborne might be nice today and tomorrow especially as they have closed the street for their summer festival. A quick drive over to the Forks would provide a nice distraction. Look at today's Free Press. They have a list of things to do this longish weekend. Then there is this list of things to do downtown: http://login.greatbignews.com/UserFiles/184/DowntownMingle-june30.htm

    Enjoy!

Send them to South Point Douglas for a tour. It was a popular spot for the newwinnipeg gang yesterday.

yeah, Osbourne St fest is a good idea. too bad they werent in town last night for the free Jazz Fest stage to watch Moses Mayes for the hundreth time.

funny thing is when my friends visit me here in BC I have so many things/places I want to take them to that I cant fit them all in.... and afterwards im always kicking myself that I forgot about something.

I think Winnipeg lacks things to do. (and I mean that in a non troll like way)
