ATTACK DESPICABLE

The suicide attack on the Danish embassy on June 2 in Pakistan is a despicable act of violence that should be condemned by all Muslims around the world.
It not only has killed innocent people, but tarnished our image as peace loving, liberal and tolerant society. This bombing is a grim reminder of how vulnerable we are to violence inflicted by those who perceive it to be a noble cause.

It hurts our people and will continue to do so in the name of a cause or religion if not rejected and condemned by all.

So, do Muslims currently enjoy an image as a *peace loving, liberal and tolerant society*?

The Muslims I know can be described as such.

Depends. That's almost like asking "Are cops quick to pull their guns on Aboriginals?"

Just because one group of radical Muslims uses bombs, and their religion to harm people and get their message across does not mean all Muslims are the same way. If we painted every member of a religion, race, country, etc, with the same brush as one of it's people, then we'd have to say that American's are no better than Muslims. It was an American man who bombed the Murrah building.

    Taken from Wikipedia....

The Oklahoma City bombing was a domestic terrorist attack on April 19, 1995 aimed at the U.S. government in which the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building was bombed in an office complex in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The attack claimed 168 lives and left over 800 people injured. Until the September 11, 2001 attacks, it was the deadliest act of terrorism on U.S. soil ...

Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols were both arrested for their roles in the bombing. (both American men)

Now because this was an American, do we treat all American's as terrorists? We don't assume all American's are bad because American men bombed an American building, WHY do some people assume all Muslims are bad because a group of Muslim men bombed an American building? The men who orchestrated and carried out the attacks are horrible men, however, just because they call themselves Muslims does not make all Muslims terrorists. The majority of Muslims are a peace loving, liberal and tolerant society. It's the few who aren't that we hear about so much, and whose actions are bringing shame to their religion.
