That is hilarious. I expect to see a static cardboard cop at the hydro station on Bishop Grandon "watching" east bound cars near the Pembina off ramp. They are ALWAYS there.

I was driving down Knight street in Vancouver a few days ago and saw one of these cut outs. Had to do a double take...they are pretty convincing. Then after looking at it in the rear view for a few seconds, I saw an actual cop a few blocks later with the radar gun. VPD is getting pretty creative...weren't they the ones that had cops dress up as squeegee kids to catch people not wearing seat belts a few years ago?

Didn't they try this in the States and then once people figured out the cops were cardboard, they started to steal them? :D

LOL and then put them in their houses. ;) (aka. Winnipeggers who don't want to bother with a house alarm)
  1.
I'm sure there are more than a few who will steal the cardboard cops for target practice.

Just like the movie Home Alone.
