    Exactly, and what better way to do so then to kickstart the process with a series of trendy restaurants/pubs/bars. Then you get they younger, single professionals that will want to live downtown and perhaps the new "tallest" condominium building will be built on one of the many parking lots that plague downtown. Edmonton just opened up a trendy downtown Sobeys on the corner of Jasper Ave. and 104th St. Vancouver has tones of these stores downtown. This is what downtown Winnipeg needs and deserves.

    It's a good snowball effect, and would definately be a catalyst in cleaning up that area.
