agreed, seems to be alot more in touch with "people"... but the NDP still needs to understand that people want "justice reform" and that they need to start supporting justice reform ( okay screw that justice namby pamby crap.. punishment reform) if they ever want to make some head way.

Posted By: JimmytufishIMO, Jack's got a lot more credibility that Dion.
Okay JTF, put the beer down. A lot of Liberal votes would never vote NDP. IMO, NDP is at the top of their game now, not to go any further. Jack is a typical brash car salesman, while Dion at least has brains.
Have you had your hearing checked lately? Climate change is real and we should "gradually" change our behavior. Put me in the "B.S. negative nanny" class of people.

Posted By: rosencrentzRegarding ice disappearing- when J2F was born all of Manitoba was covered in ice, and gradually the ice has been receding. Gradually over 1,000's of years. So what has changed? The doom is coming people are full of bullcrap. There is no link between carbon and ice disappearing, and furthermore, them's that will get used to the gradual changes will survive, as in the past! J2F told me that he was really sorry to see the dinasaurs disappear, but they refused to make the proper adjustments. Winnipeg is well positioned if one calculates the warming earth, so in about 3000 years we will have 2 crops, instead of 1, won't freeze our butts at -35, and we can cancel our CAA membership, and save $100. Boy am I looking forward to all those benefits, as I am not interested in the B.S. negative nanny reports. Whenever there is an action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Some good, some bad! Stop worrying about all the bad reports, and look up the good things that will happen! All the mosquitoes will be gone! Wow!! Think about property values!!

The problem is Dion is not selling it well to Canadians. I would love to see him come out and say he will ELIMINATE income taxes and replace them with carbon taxes. I would support that. Reducing income taxes doesn't stick in people's heads and they don't really believe it. But eliminating income taxes would be huge.
Harper isn't even a conservative....he is taxing us more than ever and spending it like a drunken sailor. Last year the government reached record spending, which means they brought in record taxes from the little people. I happen to like the Liberals because they are not going to erode our freedoms like the American government is doing to their people, and when you look at the last 20 years, the Liberals have been alot better stewards of our money than the conservatives have been.

Posted By: Fort Garry DarkSeems to me one of the knocks against Dion is that he has too much brains for politics.
If so he sure does not appear to be using them...
People with opinions are like politicians. No wait. That goes like this: People with opinions are like a$$hole$. Everyone has one. Never mind. Same thing.
