Posted By: SputnikSt. Agur Blue Cheese. Apparently they carry it at DeLuca's.

It is a very creamy (spreadable) and relatively mild blue cheese.

St Agur is excellent and as far as I know only DeLuca's carries it. They are about the best place for imported cheeses. Try their 5 year old aged cheddar. In comparison Bothwell is like chewing on wax.
Di Nardi's La Grotta market isn't bad either for cheeses that you won't find in your average supermarket.

I was beginning to wonder if Bothwell's was the only cheese sold in Winnipeg. :P

Two years ago, I had a job that entailed going to the Bothwell cheese factory once a week and watching the same video about how cheese was made. On the bright side, I got free curd samples!
3.
I like sharp cheddar

I don't have a favourite; it all depends on what I want it for.

For snacking with crackers, I usually pick a firm cheese like gouda or edam. Occasionally I will pick a nice blue. I find it harder to match a wine to blue cheese though.

On top of salads, I like a little grated asiago.

To impress the dinner guests, I will bake a brie.

I never used to be cheese fan, BUT recently I've changed my mind. Armstrong's Medium Cheddar is really the only cheese I enjoy much. Though, I'm now open to trying new flavors (err, not head). Oooh, I wish I could remember what cheeses they used at the beer tasting in Busch Gardens!

Like:
Edam, Smoked Gouda, Asiago, Cheddar (only if it's good), Oka. Tilsit is also good, but it's a bit stinky.
