I'm looking for places to buy some designer jeans here in Winnipeg, (True Religion, Seven, Rock & Republic and Diesel brand jeans.) I saw a guy wearing Rock and Republics today, I should ve asked where he bought them :( I know Holt Renfrew used to sell them, but now it's some other store :(

Does Sargent carry the designer brands? I always thought of it as a Warehouse One kind of place.

There are a few places on Corydon that look like they carry the expensive stuff...there is also that store in Grant Park Mall whose name escapes me. It might be worth a try too.

Moi Boutique on Graham has some less conventional brands, but small selection. Don't let the name fool you ... they sell guys clothes too.

I liked the original Sam's Jeans location .. they had a good selection.

Sargent Blue doesn't carry the higher end brands, they carry the mid range price point jeans.
    -Buffalo
    -Silver
    -Parasuco
    -Bauhaus
    -Levis
and work type jeans, dickies etc.

The good thing about Sargent Blue Jeans is that most of their jeans are 10 dollars less than the retail price plus I believe free hemming.

If you want Seven's, and Diesels I would try Corydon and the Exchange and maybe even Osborne Village.(Like others have said)
Sometimes Winners has Diesels and 1921's.

    From where.ca

The Works is no longer there. I think he might be referring to one of a couple stores on McDermot...Connect Four sells some higher-end mens' jeans, but the selection is a bit limited.

There is also Hanford Drewitt on Broadway...they aren't really specialists in jeans, but they do have some designer pairs kicking around.

it was Connect Four, thanks. i've found the selection there to be decent, theres not too many other places around that sell those jeans, and ive never had a problem finding a style/size i like there.

Danali on Grant should be pretty good. They carry pretty ice stuff there but the prices are fairly steep. Pair of Nudies cost over $300. I get my jeans when I go to the old country.

Anybody that would pay $300 for a pair of jeans has more money than brains. (imo)

and we all know how that story unfolded...

They do have both Diesel and Mavi at Sargent jeans. My Mavi's are the most comfortable pair of jeans I've ever worn. Danali does have a fairly good high end expensive selection. I haven't normally found them to be worth the price as far as durability goes though.

I usually find it easy to find most expensive jeans on sale, the pair of Energie's I bought were regular $280 and i got them for $110. I do notice a big difference in quality though.
