I wasn't sure which Transit Thread, of the many, to put this in so I chose this one.
I was bumping around the Winnipeg Transit Site today and found this interesting little document that I have never seen before. It was apparently published in Jan. of '06 but I never have seen it before today. I know I've checked in the WT site quite a few times since then so I was surprise to see it.
Regardless of when it was posted online, it is quite an impressive document. It talks a lot about Sustainable Neighbourhood Design and what not. If only the Waverly West designers, or Sage Creek designers had consulted it a little more. I reckon that their plans were in place long before Jan. '06 though. Maybe the next round of sprawl will consult this document.
